just came back from this camp yea. haha.
the first day i went there i was super sad. cos im like in the same grp with only si hui as the ASC peeps. and all of them are in the other group with corine and sin hwee, nuaby and sui. sigh. i was SAD. and somemore all of them from kenyah. left me alone in bidayuh. and the first 'competition' between the tribe leaders proved the weakness of my tribe. gosh. i was really sian diao yi ban( thats 50% of my enthusiasm left) den after that played some lame ice breaking games that was well, not very fun. sigh. but bidayuh won though. haha. the next day was amazing race, which was not too bad(cos ASC organise one ma! haha) haha. but itw as REAL tiring. think the worst program is the structured games or whatever its called la. haha. or maybe it wasnt that bad but i was totally sian diao that day cos i was super tired after the amazing race. haha.
my group was.... hmm.. how should i put it. i see both the good sides and bad sides la. my leaders well speaking FRANKLY, they weren't that good, but i relaly see their effort during games to catch up with the members what they lost during xiao zhu shi jian(which i dread not cos of my grp, but well maybe the content la) and act when we played games, they were rather cooperative, which i most appreciated. haha.
The very thing that i discovered in this camp is that: we can be brothers and sisters in christ, in the same family, flowing the same blood of our Lord, but we can be so different, in how we express ourselves, how we worship the Lord. I must say this experience is an eye-opener for me. like how different systems work in different churches. how different churches have different paw styles. we may sometimes laugh at differences or even think they're silly la. but really, some things we wont know until we've experienced them ourselves, likewise our salvation. so yeap, guess the bottomline is that all we do is for the glory of God!
yup. was thinking that i a bit like waste money on this camp la. but throughout this whole camp i realised stuff that are pretty interesting so yeap. haha. and i just LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the environment there. haha. the shower facilities were the best la. LOL. oh and went to the SAJC building during night time and it was SO COOL~! WHEE!!! THATS MY SCHOOL!!!!!!!! WHOA! hahaha. big stadium + indoor stadium. its just BEE-YOU-TI-FUL la! haha.
