she knew it in her mind.
she just hoped for a way to change it.
all eyes were on her when she came down.
were those jeer? mockery? or plain excitement?
she couldn't tell.
what she knew was that it was her turn next.
she tried to suirm her way through but the missus caught her at where she couldnt't run.
a piece of flattery u might say,
but to her they were mere words of persuasion.
Even God came into picture.
Did she have a choice to say no?, no.
All then tried to share her joy, if u call that joy.
but who, who would know whats behind 'joy'?
Only God and herself knew.
would tears and sorrow come?
or would satisfaction come after overcoming them?
all is uncertain, all is blurred.
Only the Lord knows,
what He has for her.
Some people search, work and toll for status and power. Does it really mean so much? With great power comes great responsibility. issit just me or reponsibility is just the norm. sigh. whats the point if God is not receiving the utmost glory. i will not base my happiness upon worldly achievements, but in Him alone.
"But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead."Philippians 3:7-11
