hee. been a long time since i blogged. well. im BUSY. hahaha. no, im not employed (not exactly) haha. okay so i shall blog about some happenings for the past 2 weeks? (gosh its only been 2 weeks since a levels are over but it feels like a whole year)
well, after the failed 'interview' at the MLM company i mentioned earlier, shuling and i have been ACTIVELY looking for jobs. been to interviews after interviews and yet none suits us. picky you may say, but im not going waste my time and effort doing something that pays $5-$6 an hour. did a one day job serving drinks in an event. super good money ($10 an hour), but only one day. SO..... I've decided, I'm going to do relief teaching. no, dont look at me with the are-you-sure-you-can-do-it look. i can teach ok! so margaret gave me this lobang, a guy called gabriel chin teaching at damai sec. so i contacted him and i went down to the school today. and he talked to us about the job scope and all that. so we were talking talking and then he asked us how we did in English (cos we are supposed to teach english) and i was so paiseh cos he asked my GP prelim grade. i was totally embarrassed! (by the way my GP is cannot make it one, i'd be elated to see a pass on my a levels cert) die la. cannot let him have any access to this blog. please la, anyone see this blog will never hire me as an english teacher. hahahaha. anyway i have qualms with teaching in damai because.... like today, when i went down, i saw the netball girls and i saw mr. Bok. haha. so weird. and im so afraid to see people like SA netballers from damai. dun ask me why i also dunno. hahaha. anyway, if i get through the principal, i'll be MISS CHONG! HAHAHAHA!
and lately ive been busy with church stuff also. sudd like got a lot of acting to do. cos our dear zui jia nu zhu jiao, nuaby, is not going to be around, so the next person they find is me. bad choice. hahahaha. it feels like im sleeping lesser than the a level days. haha.
i helped sin hwee and rachel do their nails for prom! and im going to do aining's too! its super funny. we felt super bimbotic cos we all gathered at sin hwee's house one day and we started taking out all the nail polish and start like doing our nails and all that. haha. so funny. i did my nails black! for the fun of it. i never had black nails, in fact i dun even wear nail polish. haha. but rachel and i decided that we're gonna keep our nails all the way to sheng huo ying. hahaha. i abit cannot stand it le. its like black and a bit scary. hahaha. its quite fun to get ready for prom. haha but going for it is another thing. shuling commented that i sound more excited than aining when i was shopping with them for her dress. haha.
i cant wait to go overseas on jan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go shop till i drop! and maybe some bonding time with my classmates :) its good to know them better. hahaha.
