im here in pulau ntu.
i couldnt sleep for the first night. tossed and turn throughout the night. then there were some riot-like noises outside my room after a while. this morning i woke up to something unfamiliar-jy on my right and forest in front of me. then i thought, this is going to be what i will be waking up to for the next 6 months or more. hahaha.
yday jy's parents sent us over with all our barang(lots of them). and helped us with some cleaning up too. then after that her mum prayed for us.. awwww.... so sweet...!!!! then had our first shower here. hahahaha. its really good here cos its new. but i dun dare go toilet alone in the night. scary sia. hahaha. the toilet so big. then the mirror so big also. hahaha.
had our first lect this morning. wth la, people around us so enthu, started taking out notebooks and organisers to write a lot of stuff (i dunno what they are writing down also) when its only an intro lecture. after today's lect i kinda feel relieved that im here cos whatever the prof said was exactly the things that interest me in GP lessons. i guess its the right place then.
there isnt any tut for the whole of this week so its just lects all the way. haha. so im like totally slacking in my oven-like room. seriously, its so hot here it feels like an oven. everytime we step out of the room machiam step into air con room. the ceiling fan's existence is as good as none. lucky jy brought a small fan that oscillates. if not i will just break out in sweat while im sleeping and like wet my whole bed. my bed is like... when i sleep on my sides i can feel the spring of the bad poking into my ribs...............on a lighter note, i bought air freshener for our room so it smells exceptionally nice whenever we step in. 香香! haha.
i miss working at Foo house. miss the lunch hour madness, all the crap we talk about.. and the fact that i wake up at 11 everyday, drinking the very sweet iced tea, writing orders and sending them to the kitchen, fighting with shubs to bill, and earn at least 15 bucks a day. hahaha. I LOVE THE EAST!!!!
