today, i had my FIRST EVER DANCE AUDITION.
ZOMGZ.
at first i wasnt worried all cos i didnt have much expectations and all that, but then people like hendric and din keep talking abt it then make me LS before the audi la. omg. when i got there we didnt have much warm up time already. so we kinda mass learned the dance all together at the function hall. then we broke into groups with the seniors to refine the steps. then group by group we'll present the choreo. sounds simple right? like NO. because...
#1 there was 2 eights of freestyling
HELLO THERE?! HIP HOP FREESTYLING LEH. MAD AH. I NEVER EVEN DANCE AUDI BEFORE CAN. but well i discarded my shame and did it anyway, i dunno how i look like and i dun wanna know.
#2-Patrick was there, one of the judges.
Okay, with my freestyling, i think i can just dig a hole and hide. considering the fact that im usually RESERVED in his class.
#3 the people in my group were DAMN GOOD LA.
please almost all of us got some dance background. except for a few.
#4 i think i did wrongly.
yes, even though we were one of the last groups and practised the routine for at least 20 times. and even though we did it more than once. and i know i can do it one. but i just didnt.
#5 my legs were aching
cos i didnt warm up enough and there were squats in the routine. so after doing it for 20 times, my legs got really soft.
Okay, my first ever dance audition didnt go well. like, not at all. hahahaha. but i did sure find my where my passion lie. i really kinda felt on high when i was dancing, even though it may look like shit. heck la. haha hopefully can squeeze in. first time i want something so much after the audition. haha. omg. zomgz. ZOMGZ.
