Selamat Hari Raya.
Today started out with a meeting at the SRC with the sports subcomm of CI club. not many turned up but they went ahead anyway. played a little street netball so that we could get to know each other better. well actually, there wasnt really a need to cos there were so few people just now. hahaha. nonetheless, spent a healthy morning until nua and i went to THE SUN to get ICE CREAM! hahaha. the sun is this 24 h minimart in the executive condos. u must be wondering why is there condo in NTU. i also dunno. apparently its for the expats and their families. anyway, the sun sells kettle chips!!! zomgz. really catered to the ang mohs man.
went back hall to sleep a bit before heading down to town to meet cherlyn for dinner!! yay had my favourite Shanghai style fried rice at xin wang marina square. with PORK CHOP AH! WHOOOO... and of cos, to top it off, had a gong of HK milk tea! satisfying man. but of course, the most satisfying part of our meeting wasnt the food la. we shared a lot today. somehow, everything just came naturally, topic after topic. i was really shocked because i find cherlyn becoming more and more like me. what jia mi jie said that time was right man. whoever u disciple becomes like u. haha. anyways, i felt that today was really quite a turning point of our dg rship cos she really opened up a lot more to me today. and im very encouraged myself as i encourage her about her spiritual walk and her family and what not. its like God is reminding me of all these things that im saying to her. when i look at people like eileen, xiu xia, mingli, raph, pw, ybing and all that, i often wonder how can they ever develop a rship with people like us who are younger than them. today, i found the answer to my wonder. nothing is impossible with God's love (sounds cliche but yea, haha)
I think recently God has been speaking to me a lot about my family. i know i know, i will try, harder. :)
