In my house is a small pottery jar imprinted with two potentially life-changing sentences:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future."
I say "potentially life-changing" because there is a choice involved. First, to believe that my Heavenly Father is the source of all that's good.
3 Second, to believe that His plans for
me are good. And third, "to present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God ... that by testing I may discern what is the will of God, what is
good and acceptable and perfect.
I give the control to Him, not because it will make things easier, but because He has won my heart.
